I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! It's great to be back and see all the cuties again! Our new sight word this week is play and our new letter is Ff. In math we will continue working on comparing, ordering and joining numbers. For social studies we will discuss the winter season and animals.
Remember that your child's reading calendar for December is due as soon as possible! If you have lost the calendar just write down the approximate minutes you read that month on a post it and turn that in. So far, the AM class has read a combined number of 11,000 minutes and the PM class has read a combined number of 17,000 minutes. We need more calendars turned in, morning class! :) Let's see if you can catch up!
Looking ahead, there will be no school on Monday January 21 due to Martin Luther King Jr Day. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know! Thank you for your help and support! jjacobson@res.wask12.org or 668-5027
