We have a busy week! Wednesday is our 100th day of Kindergarten! The whole day will be filled with 100 Day activities! This week we are learning 2 new sight words! They are for and you. We will also be learning 2 new letters: Dd and Rr. In social studies we will be discussing day & night, sun & shadows and Groundhog's Day.
Please remember that your child needs to bring 100 small items (all the same) to glue onto an art project on Wednesday! Looking ahead, Monday February 11 is an early out day due to teacher training. AM kindergarten will be from 9:00 to 10:30 and PM kindergarten will be from 10:30 to 12:45. Also, we will be having our class Valentine's Day party on Thursday February 14th. Students will be in charge of decorating a shoe box or other large box to bring to school that day. I will send a note home about it as the date approaches!
