Newsletter for October 27 - 31

This week we are starting a new unit!  Our new sight word will be see and our new letter will be Tt.  In math we will continue to work on numbers beyond.  We are currently working on writing the teen numbers --please have your child practice at home .

We've got a busy week ahead!  This Wednesday is our 50th day of Kindergarten!  We will be celebrating by dressing up in our best Fifties outfits and doing some fun activities.  Then on Friday it's our class Halloween parade followed by our party!  AM will have their parade at 9:15 followed by their party and PM will have their parade at noon followed by their party.  Please make sure your child has their costume already on.  They will stay in their costume all day.

Also this next week is Red Ribbon Week (when it rains it pours!).  On Monday we will be wearing red to celebrate the start of Red Ribbon Week.  On Tuesday we will wear our favorite team's jersey or T-shirt.  We don't have anything for Wednesday.  On Thursday we will wear fun colorful socks and you can bring another pair to donate.  On Friday we will all dress up in our Halloween costumes.

Looking ahead, Thanksgiving Break will be from Wednesday November 26 to Friday November 28.  School will resume on Monday December 1.
