Newsletter for October 29 - November 2

This week we will be learning about the sight word go and the letter Ii.  The sight words we have learned thus far: a, can, I, like, see, the and we.  Please review these sight words with your child.  In math we are exploring numbers 0 to 9.

This Wednesday is the Halloween parade and class party!  Please remember that the AM parade will begin at 9:15 and following it will be our party.  The PM parade will begin at 1:00 and the party will follow afterward.  Our parade will be held around the Kindergarten playground, which isn't too big, so please make sure to arrive a few minutes early in order to get a good spot!

Also coming up this week, on Thursday, is our 50s Day!  Remember that students can dress up in their best 50s attire!  It should be a really fun day filled with learning!

Looking ahead, Picture make-up day will be Thursday November 8.  Thanksgiving break will be November 21-23.  SEPs (parent-teacher conferences) will be held the week after Thanksgiving on November 26-29.

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!  Thank you for your help and support!  jjacobson@res.washk12.org or 668-5027
