I hope everyone had a wonderful Presidents Day weekend! This week we have two new sight words: and and what. We also have two new letters: Bb and Ll. In math we will be finishing up our measurement unit and will begin our classifying objects unit.
Remember that next week there will be NO KINDERGARTEN on Monday February 24 and Tuesday February 25 due to SEPs. Also, next Wednesday February 26 and Thursday February 27 will be on our short Friday schedule --AM kindergarten from 9:00 to 10:40 and PM kindergarten from 11:35 to 1:15.
Please be on time to your SEP --they are scheduled for every 20 minutes and if someone is late, it makes everyone else late. Also, make sure your child is with you! They will be showing you their date binder and they progress they have made.
The week of March 3-7 will be Dr Seuss Week! A few of the activities that week will be:
Mixed Up Monday --wear your clothes miss-matched, inside out or backwards.
Top Hat Tuesday --wear your Dr. Seuss hat or any other hat you have at home. The office might still have a few Dr. Seuss hats for sale. If interested, please ask them.
Wacky Socks Wednesday --wear crazy or miss-matched socks to school.
Theodore Thursday --we will be learned all about Dr. Seuss.
Friday --Pajamas and read-a-thon in class.
