This week we will be learning about the sight word a and the letter Pp. In math we are finishing up unit 2 Numbers 0 to 10. Please have your child keep practicing all the sight words they've learned so far and their numbers 0-10.
On Thursday October 10 we will have a "Popcorn and Pajama Day" in honor of the letter Pp. Students can wear their pajamas (and slippers if they'd like) and I will be providing the popcorn. Looking ahead, Thursday October 17 and Friday October 18 will be Fall Break! There will be no school on those days.
Don't forget to keep track of your child's reading minutes! They are very excited about the competition between the 2 classes! If you have any questions or concerns please let me know! jenny.jacobson@washk12.org or 668-5027
