This week we begin a new unit in literacy. Our 2 new sight words are this and do. Our new letter is Ee. In math we are exploring 2D shapes and patterns. We will also begin some simple addition and subtraction.
Remember, this Monday February 11 is an early release day! AM kindergarten will be from 9:00 to 10:30 and PM kindergarten will be from 10:30 to 12:45. Also this week is our class Valentine's Day party! Please make sure your child brings their decorated box AND their treats to pass out to the class on Thursday! Again, do not worry about writing in each child's name, just make sure YOUR child's name is on the FROM section.
Also, you have until this Wednesday February 13 to let me know if you need a special time for parent-teacher conferences! After Wednesday it will be much more difficult to accommodate your needs!
