We are starting a new literacy unit this week! Our new sight word is like and our new letter is Ss. Please make sure you are reviewing all our sight words learned so far! It's easier to go one by one than to have your child learn all 31 at the end of the year. In math we will continue to work on numbers 0-9. Please practice at home, especially numbers 5, 6, and 8.
Looking ahead, next Monday October 6 is an early out day again! We will have school on the Friday early out schedule: AM will be from 9:00 to 10:40 and PM will be from 11:35 to 1:15. Then the following week there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday October 16 and Friday October 17. That week, because we will only have school for 3 days, we will not use parent volunteers for centers.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know! Thank you for your help and support! jenny.jacobson@washk12.org or 668-5027
