Newsletter for March 17 - 21

I hope everyone had a great spring break!  We only have 10 more weeks of school --can you believe it?!  This week we are starting a new unit in literacy.  We are learning about the sight words said and little.  We are also learning about the letter Kk.  In math we will finish up our unit on classifying objects and we will start the unit on position.

Don't forget that Monday March 17 is St Patrick's Day!  Make sure your child wears green!  Also, for the month of March, the class who collects the most box tops will win a rootbeer float party!  So start bringing in those box tops!

We will be having an Easter egg hunt on Thursday April 17.  I will send out more information as the time draws nearer.  Looking ahead, we will have NO SCHOOL on Friday April 18 and Monday April 21 for Spring Recess.

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!  Thank you!  jenny.jacobson@washk12.org or 668-5027
